From the President:
Book Character Day was again a great success. I know I had fun. The children put some creative thought into their costumes and had a terrific time parading through the school. Thank you to the over 75 volunteers who came and helped that day.

Tonight, Thursday, November 12th, will be the PTSA general meeting. You are all invited to come and view a video on a weather station package that the PTSA has been asked to fund. A few teachers will be available to answer questions about it's benefits to the students of Arbor Heights. We will also hear from tutoring committee. The meeting will be @ 7:00 in the cafeteria. Child care will be provided.

Volunteers at Arbor Heights
A big thank you again to all the volunteers that continue to give generously of their time to help make Arbor Heights a great place for kids to be ! Please Remember to log all your volunteer hours in on the sign up sheet in the office. This is the only place we are recording hours this school year. Thank you. There were 75 volunteers signed in to help on Book Character Day - - - - - that's close to 100 hours of volunteer service in one day !!!

Holiday Wreaths
Did you see the red brochure? These wreaths are back by popular demand. Last year everyone raved how beautiful, lush green they were. They're hand tied (12'), made with noble fur, incense cedar, berried juniper & pine cones.
Cost : $16.00,shipping boxes $3.00, Red Velvet Bow $1.50. A sample wreath will be located by the principals office. Orders are due Friday, November 20th. Don't delay order yours today ! Please call Jana Rupnick if you have any questions. Remember these make wonderful holiday gifts during the season of giving.

Sock Hop At Arbor Heights
Friday, November 20th, 6:30p.m. - 9:00p.m.
This is going to be an event Elvis would want to attend. Be sure to stop by and guess how much candy is in the candy jar. We will draw names...the one who is closest Wins The Whole Jar Of Candy ! You must be present to win. If you would like to pre - pay your admission, please use the form below. Cost: $5.00 per adult ( kids accompanied by an adult are free ). This $5.00 covers admission only. A bake sale will also be held, so make sure you save room for dessert. Have your Polaroid photo taken by the real Jukebox or the 50's Car. It's A Must.!
