Just before school started this year, I accepted the librarian position at
Discovery Elementary, which is also in the Mukilteo School District. So what follows is a report on the first annual event at Discovery.
Three brave fellows stepped up to the plate and created the first annual men's cookie exchange at Discovery. We met in the library after school to
share the awe-inspiring results of our baking, tell stories of our steps and
missteps in the kitchen, and spread holiday cheer. Appreciative comments were received from other staff members who sampled the cookies. We hope we
inspired some of the non-participating men, so that the event will be bigger
and better next year!
