Change in Conference Schedule

Parent/teacher conferences will continue for two days after Thanksgiving vacation because of the two days that were missed due to snow. We will continue to dismiss school at 1:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday (December 2nd and 3rd). If you missed your conference appointment last Tuesday or Wednesday your child's teacher will be calling you soon. Hopefully you will be able to reschedule it at a time that is convenient for you, but if not you will at least have the chance to talk with your child's teacher over the phone. Seattle's snow storm certainly came at a bad time this year. Thank you in advance for your understanding and flexibility.

Kindergarten parents: Tomorrow we will begin classes for the A.M. students as previously scheduled. The make up days for the P.M. children will be Monday and Tuesday (December 2nd and 3rd). They will come to school from 9:00 - 1:00 on these days.

After School Programs

Because of our school schedule during the parent/teacher conference period (1:00 p.m. dismissal) our Chess Club and our After School Sports group will not meet. They will resume at their regular times after the conference period is over. Our Evening Computer classes will continue (4:00 - 7:00 p.m.) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We will be starting a Homework Club after school on December 5th. Ask your child's teacher for more details during your conference time.

Volunteers Needed for Fence Project

We are almost ready to begin the construction of two chain link fences to protect our two student gardens. If you can help in any way please call Lynn Moy (935-9015). Lynn is coordinating this PTA funded project. Thank you.
