Winter Program - December 18th
Our Winter Program will be held next Wednesday, December 18th. We will have a full performance in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. and two shorter performances that evening. Because of the space problem we have with an event like this we are dividing the evening show into two parts.
At 6:30 p.m. rooms 3, 4, 1, 19, 14, 18, 16 and 17 will perform. They should finish around 7:15 p.m. At that time we will clear the auditorium and at 7:30 p.m. rooms 9, 12, 15, 7, 8, 23, 21, 24 and 25 will perform. Children should report to their classrooms 15 minutes prior to the start of their program (6:15 or 7:15). Parking will be available on our playground.
If you have a child in both performances you are certainly welcome to stay for both programs, or, you may elect to see the 1:30 p.m. show. I look forward to seeing you on the 18th.
No Banking Next Wednesday
There will be no school banking on Wednesday, December 18th. The banking program will resume in January.
Ice Cream
Ice Cream is now being sold in our lunchroom at noon. Nutty Buddies sell for $.55 and ice cream bars sell for $.50. They will be sold on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
U.W. Women's Basketball Tickets
We have been given a number of tickets to the University of Washington vs. Washington State women's basketball game. The game will be played in Hec Edmundson Pavilion on January 18th at 7:00 p.m. If you would like some tickets just send a note to school with your children telling us how many you want.
Lost and Found
We have a number of very nice coats, sweaters, etc. in our lost and found cupboard. On December 20th we plan to donate these clothing articles to agencies that can put them to good use. Be sure to have your child check the lost and found if you are missing anything.
Instrumental Music Concert
All of our 4th and 5th graders who play a musical instrument here at school will be involved in a Spring Concert on April 9, 1997. The concert will be held at Leschi Elementary School (135 - 32nd Avenue) this year. Details will be sent home in March.
