The Science Fair Information Packets went home last week. The Topic
Sheets are due on January 29th. We have started to collect some
take-apart items but have room for more! More information on the Science
Fair will be coming home next week.
Notes to School
We appreciate the increase in parent communication to the office in
regards to student tardies and absences. The Truancy Laws are very strict
and as you know we spend a lot of time making phone calls trying to find
out why a student is out. Please be reminded that the voice mail is on
after hours so you can leave a message. If you are sending in a note
please be sure to put your CHILDS FIRST AND LAST NAME on the note. This
small step saves the office a lot of time. Thank you.
Middle School Visitations
The following schools have supplied us with their tour dates for incoming
middle school students. Washington Middle School tours will be held on
the following dates: February 16, 18, 23 and 25, March 4, 11, 18 and 25
from 8:30 - 9:45 a.m. Students are welcome to attend these tours with the
parents. On February 10th they will be sponsoring a Parent Information
Meeting from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. This meeting is for parents only.
Mercer Middle School will have their Open House on March 4th from 6:30 -
7:30 p.m. On Mondays and Tuesdays in February they will have tours from
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Please call for an appointment (768-3660).
