Many thanks to school staff and parents for all your support. It is because
of all your calls and letters that nursing cutbacks will not be a reality
next year.
We all appreciate your time and effort as nurses can continue to provide

THANK YOU PTA!!
Thank you for to Patricia Timmermon and her committee for the wonderful
treatment the we have received during Staff Appreciation Week. The flowers,
lunch, frozen treats and all the special attention has been appreciated by
all of us.
Summer School Applications
Those students who received a summer school application in their report card
envelope need to return the completed application to the office by May 11th.
Carnival
The Carnival was a great success. What fun we had playing the games, dunking
Mr. Wilkie and various cubscout leaders and enjoying the bakesale goodies.
We thank all the parents who contributed their time and donated items for the
classroom baskets. There will be more details about the Carnival in the next
PTA Newsletter.
Recycling Reminder
The collection is slowly starting to build, but Rooms 7 and 22 need at least
220 of the #2, clear and green plastic, 2 liter pop bottles with the caps.
Please bring them to the Honor Lounge. The plastic bottles are for a Science
Kit project.
