No School On Friday
The Seattle Public Schools will be closed for students on Friday, October 10th because of a statewide inservice day. Teachers will have the opportunity to participate in numerous staff development activities. The schools will reopen at the regular time on Monday, October 13th.
Because we will be closed on Friday, the PTA will be selling popcorn on Thursday this week.

PTA Meeting Tomorrow
The PTA will hold it's second meeting of the year tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. The one hour meeting will be held in the lunchroom with childcare available in the library and the gym. I hope you can join us.

Check Us Out
The address for our school's home page on the World Wide Web can be found at the top of this page. Mr. Ahlness updates the page often (he also includes my Parent Bulletins) so check us out if you have computer access.

The men play California at noon and the women play Oregon State at 2:00 p.m. We also have tickets for women's volleyball at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

School District News
A new service, the Seattle School District News and Information Line, is now in full operation. By dialing 298-7207, callers can get an updated report on the activities under way in the district, calendar reminders, and emergency notifications. The service is updated weekly, except in emergency situations when it is updated immediately.

CampFire
Experience the Fun of CampFire Boys and Girls. We're making a positive difference in the lives of young people. Come to a Parent Informational meeting at Arbor Heights on Thursday October 16th at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria and be part of the Fun!! Diane Parr 935-0922
