On behalf of the entire staff, we would like to extend our heart felt thanks to all parents who were so generous with cards, balloons, goodies and the wonderful luncheon last week during Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week.

Spring Clean Up Day:
Please join us on Sunday, May 16^th from 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. for our annual Spring Clean Up Day here at Arbor Heights.

Please call Dave Hadaway at 200-3174 if you plan on coming out that day to help spruce up the school grounds.  It should be a lot of fun!  Juice, coffee, pastries and water will be provided.  

P.T.S.A. Golden Acorn Award:
Each year our P.T.S.A. gives Golden Acorn Awards to people who have given exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our school community.  The Golden Acorn Award is an excellent way to honor P.T.S.A. MEMBERS for their contributions to this association.

You may pick up a nomination form in the School Office.  Please make your selection and then place it in the Yellow Box also located in the Main Office area.  The deadline for casting your vote is Friday, May 14^th.

Volunteer Luncheon:

The staff of Arbor Heights School wishes to show their appreciation for all the WONDERFUL things our Volunteers do for us.  You are cordially invited to the Annual Arbor Heights Volunteer Luncheon on Thursday, June 3^rd from 11:30 – 1:00p.m. 

All of you who have helped in ANY WAY (field trip chaperones, classroom tutoring, driving for swimming, P.T.S.A. functions and all the other countless wonderful thing you do for us) are invited.

Box Tops for Education:
Keep turning in those box tops for Education (donation bin located in the lobby).  We have received over 2,800 box tops, each worth 10 cents.  Please be sure and include the expiration date when tearing off the box top.  The expiration date is verified, so if it is torn/unreadable then the box top is no longer valid.  Now is the time to designate a shoebox or zip loc bag to continue collecting summer long.

Thriftway and PCC Receipts:
We have collected approximately $30,000 worth of receipts resulting in $300 for Arbor Heights.  Keep turning in those Thriftway and PCC receipts, they really add up!!

Lost and Found Items:
Our Parent Volunteers are in the process of sorting through our Lost and Found items.  We will have all items on display in the playcourt area in the next few weeks.

Everything will be bagged up after time and donated to a charitable organization.
